Probiotics are the good bacteria in your gut. Your body makes them automatically, but with all we put our bodies through, it’s important to supplement with more. Your gut health affects not only your nutrient absorption, but also your immune system, and even your mental health.
Don’t. forget. the. fiber.
Probiotics use fiber (also called prebiotics) for food. This provides fuel and sets your gut up for success.
Most Americans are fiber deficient, with only 7% getting adequate amounts. This deficiency increases the risk for chronic diseases, including colon cancer.
How long do the sodas last?
As long as you can resist, good luck!
Sodas can remain refrigerated (with the cap on) for weeks but will continue to ferment, causing the flavor to change and the alcohol content to increase slightly.
Why is there alcohol?
BGB is made through a process called fermentation. The good bacteria (probiotics) eat the sugars in the soda, producing the natural byproducts of carbonation and alcohol. The level of alcohol is very minor, but the longer the sodas sit in your refrigerator the more the alcohol levels will (slowly) increase.
